Yoga is the science of right living and, as such, is intended to be incorporated in daily life.

It works on all aspects of the person: the physical, vital, mental, emotional, psychic and spiritual.

On a more practical level, yoga is a means of balancing and harmonizing
the body, mind and emotions.

Hatha Yoga (traditional style)

The term Ha-tha literally means force. “Ha” meaning sun, and “Tha” meaning moon. Through the practice of postures, breathing techniques and meditation it balances the opposite pairs that exist within us such as right and left, feminine and masculine, hot and cold, rationality and intuition, movement and stillness. It helps us to improve not only the physiological systems of the body, but also steadiness of mind and a more intimate connection of ourselves.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Ashtanga literally means “eight-limbed” or “eight-fold path”. The goal of this yoga style is not to learn the more difficult asanas, but rather to master one’s internal focus throughout the practice. The style of Ashtanga yoga is dynamic and while practicing your movements the body has to connect with the flow of the breath. It is important to daily practice the set of series of flows. By many it is seen as a modern-day form of classical Indian yoga.
